We believe arts writing matters, and we know the 75+ reviews and stories we've published since April 1 have made an impact on the Kansas arts landscape. If you agree, we hope you'll support us with a monthly gift.
Our goal: 100 monthly donors by December 31, 2024.
Why focus on monthly donors?
Monthly commitments help us plan for the future — and a little goes a long way! If we had 100 donors who gave $1 every month, we could cover one third of the monthly cost of paying our contributing writers, editors, and photographers. With that kind of support, we'd be well on our way to creating an arts publication that will serve Kansas residents for years to come.
That said, we appreciate every single dollar we receive. If a one-time gift works better for you, that works for us!
How much do people give?
We have donors giving between $2-25 per month and one-time donors who have given $10 to $200.
Our average monthly donation is $9.36.
Where are we in our progress toward our goal?
The green icons in the image at the top of the page indicate how many active monthly donors we have. We're currently at 22 — which is an amazing start.
Through December 31, 2024, every monthly donor and one-time donors who give $12 or more will receive an "arts writing matters" sticker from the SHOUT along with a handwritten thank-you note.
Can't give right now? You can help us out by sharing this campaign, forwarding our emails, and posting our reviews and stories on your social media pages.
Thank you so much for your support.
